Ripple Treasury Donates over $11,000 to Families, Victims of Paradise, Ca. Camp Fire
Read this press release for more details on the donation Ripple Treasury made to Families.
Ripple Treasury made the donation via the American Red Cross, LDS Humanitarian Fund, North Valley Community Foundation Camp Fire Relief, the Center for Disaster Philanthropy, and the California Fire Foundation.
When news of the fire broke – along with news stories of the difficulties in containing it — Ripple Treasury employees rallied to contribute funds to support families affected. To further their individual impact, Helen Kane, Hedge Trackers founder, CEO, tripled the employees’ collective contribution.
“At one point, we would look out our office in San Jose and we could see the smoke cover,” said Kane. “We knew we need to do our part to help the community of Paradise and its families. Since Ripple Treasury's inception, giving back to the community has been a core tenet of our company values. We felt it was our duty to do our small part in helping the community and families to rebuild after their devastating losses.”
